A new type of software framework named SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)was analyzed and studied for application in this paper. For SOA emphasizes on reuseand loose coupling and pay attention to the interfaces and its standardized description, all of these give a good architecture for enterprise applications. The integratedsystems based on SOA have better expansibility and agility. The user can developnew operation modules (services) or reuse the old modules with the least influences tothe old system. This can keep the step with the need for the operations quickly. Withthe rapid development of Web Service, it is possible to build the system based onSOA. Now the system based on SOA shows the great value in application andintegration. How to choose the best scheme to realize the conformity of the systembased on the actual situation of the system and guarantee the expansibility of thesystem is a study full of challenge and imperative. This paper summarized the advantages and disadvantages of choosing theSOA by analyzing and comparing the frame technologies in the past thoroughly. Atthe same time, the paper clarified the misunderstandings between the Web Serviceand SOA by quite a lot of theory studies. After the study of key technologies in theWeb Service, we continued the research and used the SOA principles in the educationplatform by the Web Service technologies. It was a typical application in the systemintegration field. In this integration project, how to compartmentalize the service andmanage the service were shown through analyzing the background of the project. Atlast we brought the scheme for realization. Also the paper gave a detailed design stepfor the service interfaces, which is very important for the application study of SOA.
