| Mobile Commerce can be identified as the exchange of businessinformation and commerce activity of all sorts dependindg on mobilecommunication network, using mobile terminal equipments such as cellphone, palm PC, notebook computer and so on. Along with the sustaineddevelopment and maturation of internet and mobile communicatetechniques which are melting together, mobile commerce is becoming anewly rising business mode and then has huge economic growingpotentiality because of its advantages such as flexibility, simpleness andconvenience, which the traditional E-commerce can not be comparedwith.At the same time, mobile commerce represents the application ofthe latest techniques. Among those, WAP is one of the key techniques todevelop mobile commerce. As the latest version of WAP, WAP2.0integrates new standers and techniques of internet on the base ofWAP1.x, and applies them into wireless environment. The adoption ofWTLS and WIM makes WAP2.0 be able to provide safer and moreefficient security mechanism in aspects of various security measuressuch as supporting several different authentication modes (anonymous visiting, client authentication, server authentication), safe conversationcontrolling and digital signing and so forth. As a result, WAP2.0 is beingused in wider and wider application sphere of mobile commerce.In mobile commerce, the most important problem is mobilepayment. And to formulate a standard for mobile payment mechanism isconsidered as the foundation stone of the success of mobile commerce.All users and service providers show most concern for the realization ofa payment which is safe and correct. However, many new securityproblems are brought in because the utilization of new technique andequipment in mobile commerce. The unsettling of the security problemin a certain degree prevents mobile payment from developing further inour country.Considered such problems above, in this paper, mobile commerceas well as its key technique——WAP2.0 are firstly analyzed, then thesecurity problem and mobile payment. To go a step further, how torealize a safe and efficient mobile payment system is researched. |
