The Design And Implementation Of A WEB-based Workshop Management System

Jobshop production management information system plays an important role in improving of the labor productivity and the information management level for a manufacturing enterprise. According to the new requirements for production management of a jobshop, working in a large-scale discrete manufacturing enterprise under the agile manufacturing and networked manufacturing environment, the workshop production management methods as well as some key technologies are studied in this thesis. Main contents are as follows:Firstly, the research results and limitations of the present production management methods are analyzed, and trends for future development of production management are pointed out, Upon these, the idea of research and develop a web-based jobshop management information system is presented.Secondly, the workshop production management method and mechanism are studied. A workshop production planning method, based on the integration of traditional MRPⅡand JIT method, are provided, and the computation methods are given for making a planning including the product yield, production batch, the part's begin and end time, and et al. Meanwhile, the concept, classification and function of network kanban and network kanban based production scheduling and controlling method are provided, and the structures and running mechanism for the kanban system's are designed too.Thirdly, the general framework, function module and application ways of the proposed web-based workshop production management system are discussed, based on the analysis of the urgent requirements of the workshop production management technologies. Besides, the database design process that including logical design process and conception design process of the system is provided and the definite design option is given.Finally, key technologies that including data access technique and security control technique for development the web-based jobshop management information system are studied. With SQL Server database, VB.NET computer language and ADO.NET database link technique, a prototype WB-Workshop MS are developed out.
