Data Acquisition and Image processing System of High Resolution Imaging Sonar can achieve 3-D trajectory measurement of underwater movement object, two multi-beam imaging sonars are combined by a certain angle to get the object's relative location data, and synthesize the 3-D trajectory. This paper studies the data acquisition system of the trajectory measurement program, and will resume the measured data into images.Think about the high resolution imaging sonar's special signal format, and then research the hardware design and software program for the overall study. To resolve the past acquisition performance's instability especially that the system can't work under high-power, Digital PLL which is traditional in hardware is creatively realized by programming in FPGA, the Digital PLL provides a precise synchronization signals for the acquisition system. The A/D device' reference automatic keeps in accord with the signal it self's high and low voltage, which reduces the error and improves the overall accuracy.The system hardware is designed in the form of the PCI bus board in PC which steady satisfy the huge data and fast transmission rate. The operating system is changed from the eliminated Win98 operating system to the mainstream super-stable Windows 2000 system, develops Microsoft Company's new driver model WDM, and application for communication with the driver which effective achieves human-computer interaction and real-time control of the Card and huge amount storage. Follow-up data separation, bitmap conversion process has laid the foundation for further data processing; have to verify the correctness of data collection to provide a basis.Acoustic image processing is directed at the traditional single-frame images. Every image is the goal for the campaign but only a single point, the trajectory does not contain objective, and track moving objects in the possession of the moving target trajectory in the entire frame image occupies a small proportion (only a few pixels), so it contains very little information about the object in the entire image. Firstly, adopts the method of mathematics morphology to deal with sequence images, and get the object's movement trajectory.After the success of debugging, the acquisition system achieves the expected results, resolves the deficiencies of function in the past system. After prolonged, repeated tests, the performance is stable and reliable; the data is accurate which is verified by compare the bitmap images with display of the sonar. The results of sequence image processing coincide with the actual target trajectory.
