Zui Xiang Ri Yue written by Huang Pusong in late Dang Dynasty, is an art monograph about culture of convivial tricks (in Chinese Jiu Ling) of that time. It not only absorbed the former people's achievements but also enlarged their range. The book has a systematic record on various popular convivial tricks at that time. It left valuable historical materials about the Dang social cultural life for offspring. Meanwhile, the book, which is widely quoted by the later scholars, also plays an important role in the Chinese cultural history.This thesis gives a presentation about the culture of convivial tricks in Dang Dynasty recorded in Zui Xiang Ri Yue from several points of view.First, the paper has a meticulous review of all author's life including detail analysis of his family background, life experience, companionship in official career as well as bookmaking etc., thus we have a clear recognition about the author's situations.Second, the compilation and its widespread as well as impact of Zui Xiang Ri Yue have been seen about. Specifically speaking, the backgrounds, social customs, literature of spread culture in Dang Dynasty behind Zui Xiang Ri Yue have been analyzed. Consequently, it is clear to see its background of compilation. As for the composition time of Zui Xiang Ri Yue, we fixed it was around the Tangxuanzong Dazhong 12^th year (858) according to the literature. After the formation of the book, it has been coming down for a long time to a great extent. Then it remained the integrality until the Ming & Qing Dynasty. While, two kinds of abstract (, ) have more widespread influence up to the present. Zui Xiang Ri Yue brought great influence on both the dinner culture and the poetry production afterwards, take the word Zui Xiang for example, it has been adopted by many poems and titles of the offspring.Thirdly, this paper discusses the importance of the investigation of the Zui Xiang Ri Yue. In our opinion, the book provides not only the treasonable historical data about convivial culture, but also does good to new discoverable Dun Huang Quzi Ci. Meanwhile, the author presented the social convention of Dang Dynasty from one point of view. What's more, the research on Zui Xiang Ri Yue and mastery of Jiu Ling art of Dang Dynasty are propitious to our understanding of the Dang's poetry.Fourthly, this paper has a deep research on the content of Zui Xiang Ri Yue from the point of check and note. Check section tried to renewal to the original Zui Xiang Ri Yue through collecting the lost part and the original one. Note section gave an explanation of the obscurity in original text through some kinds of best-known literature and unearthed cultural relic. At the same time, it gave a particular interpretation of the various recorded Jiu Ling as well as Jiu Shi in Zui Xiang Ri Yue. And add some Jiu ling recorded in other literature but not seen in this book. Moreover, my thesis has properly supposed the content of the lost part of Zui Xiang Ri Yue.
