The Research Of Data Transformation Technology In E-Government

With the development of computer technology and network technology, it is an inevitable trend of the development of information society that the implementation of Electronic Government, reorganization and optimization of structure and workflow of the government, establishment of a rightsizing, efficient, incorruptible and fair virtual government. Due to the lack of unified planning and deployment in the development process of E-Government, various government departments built the business systems with the different technology, databases and operating systems, resulting in the data between systems can not be shared and exchanged, which leads to one and another "detached island of information". How to effectively utilize the existent data resources of E-Government is currently thorny issue to be resolved, its essence is to transform and share the available data resources.Aiming at the requirements of data transformation in the E-Government.This paper researches and analyzes the architecture and inner process of Globus Toolkit and OGSA-DAI., proposes a design scheme of data transformation platform based on Grid technology which resolves the problem of the exchange of data in each branch of government firmly.This paper mainly discusses the research and implementation for the data transformation of E-government. The platform can integrate different business system into grid environment Globus Toolkit, provide the metadata management services for registered database using OGSA-DAI and use XML for data transmission and transformation to eliminate heterogeneity of data model from various systems. It provides a lot of functions such as the releasing of data resources, data querying and data transforming, etc. In data transformation process, it ensures the integrity of data entity and domain, and provides the function of regular scheduling transformation .It implements the sharing and exchange of data between the independent and distributed system.
