The Research And Implementation On Security Mechanisms Of Data Grid System

Along with the prevalence of Internet, the more and more powerful software and hardware appears, and the computing application developing desires high performance, diversity and multifunction. To fulfill the requirement, grid technology emerges. Grid computing is an integrated cooperative computing environment that is composed of distributed heterogeneous resources. With the development of grid computing, there are many kinds of grid such as data grid, computing grid and semantic grid. data grid is one of the main branches of grid, who can enable the shareing and processing of data resource efficiently.The paper focuses on the key technologies of data grid security. By analysing the characteristic of data intensive application, our group design and develop our own data grid software called GriDen. We study the main security technologies, including security authenticate, communication confidentiality, single-sign-on and authority mechanism. We analyze the security requirement of GriDen software, and propose the security model GriDenSec according to the structure of GriDen, including a single-sign-on model across multiple domains, and the GriDen's authority mechanism, which can define authority polices, build structure model. At last, we implement the security authority system GriDenSec .We test and analyse the secrurity system GriDenSec in a local network, and the results proves that the secrurity solution is feasible.
