| The long-term developments target of E-Government is establish an open electronic service environment, which can covers all levels government section, various business with applying, striding over each level of structure, close combination, intensively managing environment. GIP is exactly an information portal for integrating internal resources, displaying department visualize thought Internet. An excellent GIP is the base of E-Government achieving results, and GIP is also the core of E-Government and is important window to people. But commonly information portal links each isolated information system with the form of portal. Its weakness is bottom level of information system wasn't integrated. It's a visual integration only.The grid was called the third generation Internet. Its goal is to realize the across-the-board connection of all resources in Internet, such as compute resources, saving resources, information resources, knowledge resources etc. Grid technology has strong support ability for profounder level data integration in GIP, provides the possibility for solving isolated island of information. Therefore research of grid technology applying in GIP has strong and practical value.This paper first analyzed the dissent of the current GIP, then put forward to request of grid technology, studied and analyzed the design of GIP on grid environment. Based on new grid standard OGSA, OGSI and its implements GT3.2, We implemented a prototype system of government information integration and sharing. The system make use of grid service as base unit, adopts GT3.2 as development and ran platform, uses publish/subscribe mechanism deliver information between services so that can accelerates the process of examine and approve.
