The function block architecture of the IEC61499 standard is being tested and discussed in the automation community for several years. In 2005 it has been standardized as an open component-based architecture for industrial process measurement and control systems. Basic concepts and ideas are given by the new industrial standard IEC61499, about the design modularized, reusable and distributed IPMCS. The IEC61499 is an attempt to improve the software engineering technology. Currently, the research and development of the standard is a hot topic in the fields of manufacturing and industry controls.This thesis takes Zhejiang Zheda Zhongzi Integrated Control Stock Co., Ltd.'s control algorithm SunyIEC of industrial control application software platform SunyTech as the background, and studies the realization methods of industrial control programming system of this standard.Firstly, this thesis introduces the development of the programming systems in automation and the general researches of IEC61499 all over the world are summarized. Secondly, the basic concepts of IEC61499 are systemically introduced, exhaustively analyses the Function Block model. Thirdly, realises the IEC61499 standard architecture, designes the schedule method of Function Blocks based on the event message stream. Describe and conclude the realization of IEC61499 development tool based on software architecture model. A simple application system is constructed based on the IEC61499 standard in allusion to the design pattern of the IEC61499 system, and analyzed the advantage of this control system. As for the network requirements of IEC61499, after this technology discussed, several typical industrial Ethernet protocols are introduced and analyzed in this thesis, at last designs the communication function block of IEC61499 based on TCP/IP protocol. Finally, this thesis summarizes and makes the prospects of IEC61499.
