The Supervision System Of Power Supply And Room Environment For Telecomnication

The power supply and room environment supervision system has become a necessity to modern communication center management for intensive monitoring, maintenance and management of the telecommunication exchange center and power equipments, for the realization of fewer people or no people at duty in the distance communication center, for the establishment of a network management system which is adaptive to the modern communication networks.The supervision system designed in this thesis is mainly to monitor the power system, air-conditioning and environment of the telecommunication exchange center, thus resulting in the safe and reliable work of communication equipments through these equipments and under such environmental conditions, reducing the equipment troubles, decreasing maintenance work and guaranteeing power supply. The concrete job includes the monitoring of the power supply conditions, room air-conditioning and the environment (temperature, humidity and smoke, etc.). The emphasis is placed on telecommunication power and environmental intensive monitoring system construction, function constitution, data gathering, system monitoring, etc., and then a detailed analysis of the monitoring system pattern and program can be made.A detailed discussion is also made in this thesis about the software and hardware design of the network monitoring system based on the embedded OS uClinux. The contents included are the choice of system hardware platform, the transplant of the embedded OS, the development of the driver, and finally the design and debugging of the application program.The system consists of several parts: the monitoring front part, monitoring center and distance monitoring terminal. The front part includes amount sensor and intelligence monitoring device. Intelligence monitoring device has large amount of analogy and switch interfaces, through which are connected with various sensors. Furthermore, the embedded OS and TCP/IP protocol functions as software platform and the application program also gets developed. After the gathering and processing job of the instant data done, these data will be sent through the Internet to the monitoring center server.
