The thesis aimmimg at the developing of the Embedded Web Server on the basis of Linux. And also makes a try to apply technology of Embedded Web to Multimedia Central Control System (MCCS), Realization of remote monitoring and supervision of the Multimedia devices.Much work has been done in this paper:Analyze embedded development platform based on ARM7 Micor Processor Unit --S344B0X, and expressly introduces the function of each hardware module.Analyze the architecture of the embedded Linux systemn, memory management. We have discussed the linux equipment driver and developing several instance concretly. At the same time, uClinux operating system is transplantated on the goal board.After analysing common procotol TCP/IP and HTTP protocols, cooperateing with the need of researching, we apply them to embedded Web Server system. Then the embedded Web principle is rearching, and the procedure of developing on CGI technology and socket technology are summarized. Realize the communication between the Web Server and Multimedia devices. The remote administrators manage the Multimedia devices by exchanging data with the embedded Web Server using a browses.Realization of the local operation interface module and LCD display module that provides the local user with a well and convenient operation environment.The result of study indicates that the stability and practicability of the Embedded Multimedia Central Control System tested, the function of remote monitoring and supervision has been realized. Local operation module works well. At last, a sum-up and prospect of some other usage ofLinux embedded system are given.
