In recent years, the technology of measuring and monitoring remote data using network is in extensive consideration of researchers. With this technology, anywhere a network is connected, a user can acquire data and monitor the status of equipments in long distance. On the other hand, because the embedded system device can be tailored to special application in both hardware and software, it's well fit to tele- measure and monitor equipment which is constrained in size, power consumption and cost. In this paper, we researched the embedded dynamic web technique and the embedded GUI technique, and designed an embedded tele- measure and control system, which has a broad future in both military and civil application.By choosing an embedded hardware platform based on S3C4510B CPU with ARM7 TDMI kernel and embedded OS uClinux, this paper designes and implementes the software program of embedded tele- measure and control system. The main contributions of this paper are following.Firstly this paper does deep research on how to miniaturizate uClinux, summarizes the key point on uClinux system designing, sets up the cross development environment, transplants the embedded OS to the special hardware platform, establishes the basic software platform.Secondly this paper studies the methodes of developing applications in uClinux, implementes the CGI program and the dynamic web server, which are two key technologies in the tele- measure and monitor system. This paper also introduces how to implement the Framebuffer driver and color LCD controller driver in uClinux. In the end, three main embedded GUI system are transplanted and compared, smoothing the way for the further study.
