Research And Development Of The Performance Testing System For Electric Wire Rope Hoist

As an actuator of the hoisting machine, Electric Wire Rope Hoist (EWRH) is widely used in factories, mines, harbours, warehouses and shops. For producting eligible EWRH, it is necessary to test the EWRH product. Most of manufacturers test the EWRH by hand, which not only wastes time but also gets low precision. It is not satisfactory by testing products with the general instruments. Special EWRH testing device should be developed to save time and financial resource and improve the accuracy and speed of measurement. Meeting with the demand of production and the practical application, combining with the useful experience from the existing devices, a comprehensive characteristic testing device of EWRH with a good bargain to satisfy the EWRH manufacturer is developed.In this paper, firstly, based on the principle and structural analysis of EWRH, the whole architecture of the system was presented. It was composed of two components: test and control system and data management system. Secondly, the structure of hardware and software were discussed. Data acquisition, A/D conversion, DI/O control and serial communication are expatiated in the two aspects of software and hardware. Thereinto, for testing the brake slide distance, this thesis proposed a noncontact testing method which solved a difficult problem in mechanical industry. Lastly, based on the C/S and B/S mixed architecture, data management system was putted forward, and by this system, the whole test data may be managed together and shared among the enterprise.The Performance Testing System for Electric Wire Rope Hoist has begun its run in Nanjing Hoisting Machinery General Works, and gained excellent praise.
