With the unremitting development of the information technology, three changes have taken place in the area of manufacturing software systems, namely, componentation, globalization and the system's overall optimization. Under such circumstance, the software components must be interoperable. To follow these changes, key technologies concentrate on how to find and use and reuse skillfully manufacturing software components which are provided by various venders and integrate these software components. The integration means the interoperability for manufacturing software components,the exchange of information and the capability of cooperation..Standardized method described in capability profile is used to improve the interoperability for manufacturing software components. The capability profiling includes specifying reference class structures of manufacturing activities, specifying manufacturing activity classes, specifying the capability classes of manufacturing activities and the capability profile of a particular software. The capability profile is created by filling an adequate template. The templates are prepared corresponding to capability classes of manufacturing activities. Not only capabilities for manufacturing software components, but also the requirements are described as capability profiles. As a result, choosing the manufacturing software components which have the required capabilities is just matching required profiles with software components capability profiles.The conformance test (or conformance evaluation) intends to test whether a implementation accord with a standard. It is a necessary means to safeguard the software capability profile accord with the standard. And it is a indispensable process to guarantee the interoperability for software components integration.The research on the conformance test of interoperability for software components in this paper stress on the testing method, proceed, object, requirement and how to choose the testing point. A prototype is developed, which can carry out the whole process including profiling, the conformance test and registering, and can match software components capability and can test matching report.
