Research And Application Of Consistency And Interoperability Test Of Bluetooth Application Specification

Article from the perspective of the test, in order to realize good Bluetooth user experience for the purpose, creatively put forward a series of specification Bluetooth application software solutions (conformance and interoperability test), including test methods, test results analysis and positioning, and Bug analysis and solution, etc. At present the rapid development of Bluetooth technology are thoroughly changing every aspect of our lives, intelligent mobile device is pleased with Bluetooth technology has been an unprecedented popularity. But as a result of the limitation of traditional Bluetooth test method and test tools, Bluetooth application specification of software testing has always been the biggest bottleneck Bluetooth device development in the market. Bluetooth application specification of interoperability test because of its randomness, infinite for reasons, such as has not yet form a unified, standardized test methods, leading to different Bluetooth manufacturer product compatibility is poor, hindered the large-scale application of Bluetooth technology and the further development, so in this paper, the Bluetooth specification test method of exploration is particularly valuable.To facilitate the specification of Bluetooth application specific functions, the author through repeated demonstration, experiment, and finally to participate in the development of the company based on Windows CE platform of a called BT-APP UI software applications. BT-APP can be easy to operate as a visual interface, make the test execution by operating personnel can BT-APP human-computer interaction interface, more simple and convenient for the realization of the Bluetooth specification.The author analyzed through to the daily work experience, for different Bluetooth software implementation environment, using BT-APP tools, and combined with different Bluetooth application testing strategy to develop a set of complete Bluetooth application specification conformance and interoperability test methods. This test method is applicable to almost all Bluetooth application test specification, and with good portability and interoperability, has been widely used in the author’s unit, for Bluetooth testing efficiency and accuracy of test results are greatly improved.
