Agricultural Environmental Monitoring is very important for agricultural production. Monitoring station of agriculture environment has gathered so much data that a useful method has to be found as soon as possible to provide the monitoring staff with warranties, which help the staff make countermeasures of the phenomenon of"drown by data, hungry for knowledge".The data warehouse is a kind of data aggregate, which is subject oriented, steady, compositive and dynamic. It is applied to support the decision-making process in the information systems. OLAP and Data Mining based on data warehouse become one of the domains researched active.The first two chapters of this article introduce the emergence, development and character of Data Warehouse from conception of it, and expatiate on the systematic structure, function and data analysis of Data Warehouse. In the chapter 4, first, from comparing with OLTP, an important kind of analysis tool– OLAP is educed. Then what is Data Mining is discussed. The chapter 4 discusses not only the structure of the system and those technologies that it uses in detail, but also how the data statistical analysis is realized. First, this chapter describes the analysis of the requirement, the synoptic design, the detailed design and the contents of the iterative development. Then, it explains how to build the data models and metadata and implement corresponding data mining processes based on these models. The last chapter summarizes the chapters discussed before.
