The System Design And Implementation Of Embedded ECG Monitor Based On Bluetooth

Heart disease is one of the main diseases menacing human's health. Because the burst of heart disease is occasional and paroxysmal, real-time ECG monitor can get ECG information of patients so that abnormal events can be discovered and measures can be taken on time.The main part of existing remote monitor system is a computer. And the cost of sending ECG data by MODEM is high.Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology with low power dissipation and close quarters. As open standard for wireless data and voice communication, the purpose of Bluetooth is to substitute for the wires of existing devices such as PC, printer, mobile phone and so on. At present Bluetooth SIG(Special Interest Group) including many famous IT and communication corporations has already produced some Bluetooth products .The wireless ECG monitor system studied in this article uses embedded technology. It can send ECG data by BT module so that it realizes real time monitoring of ECG of patients at low cost.The main research in this paper is listed as follows:A comprehensive description about the current research status of ECG technique is described. The significance of the research work is also given.Study on the basic knowledge of embedded system , select embedded processor and study peripheral module and interface.Probe into Bluetooth technology, Bluetooth protocol, and its application in wireless ECG monitor system .Put forward the whole design scheme for wireless ECG monitor system. Select the scheme for the hardware design of this system on the basis of study on literature of embedded technology. Compose the application program based on data collection module with assembly language.Select the Bluetooth module based on embedded Bluetooth protocol, at the same time, offer relevant communication program.In the end, the main research conclusion is summarized ,the prospect of further research work is also proposed .
