Research On The Remote Measure System For Oil Well Based On GSM Network

The rapid development of network and communication technology, greatly promotes the level of automatic management in oil districts. Adopting wireless measure systems to collect oil well data has become into an inevitable trend. The paper puts forward and design a scheme of remote measure system for oil wells based on GSM network, which can collect and transmit data of oil wells, and statictic the data in time.Short Message Service (SMS) and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) are the new increment services, which can transmit data for a long distance by using the present GSM base system. They run steadly with rare code missing or wrong codes. What is more, they need not to beuild our own network, so the cost of building network can be saved. They are very fit for those applications in which the wire net is impracticable because of local data acquisition units distributing wide and far distance.The system mainly includes three parts: oil well data acquisition unit, remote data transmission unit and data processing unit in the monitoring center. The oil well control unit is on the base of TI 16 bits MCU MSP430F149, which can collect data of the oil well, such as the total flux of liquid, the total flux of gas, mean pressure, mean temperature and mean mixed density. It also can send and receive data. The remote data transmission unit transmits data by SMS or GPRS mode so as to implement the communication between the oil wells and the monitoring center. The data processing system in the monitoring center which is developed by Visual C++6.0 and the database adopts the Sybase database. It can manage the data of oil wells in the oil districts and the foundation which the production manage department can make decision in time is established.
