Design Of New Type Sonar Display And Research Of Display Processing Technology

Sonar display holds the balance in sonar device. Because the signal processing system can be seen as a black box from the point of view of an operator. That is not important to know that how signal data is transmitted, transformed, saved and transacted in the black box. The operator just need do some operation corresponded to the information on the screen. That's to say, display control system plays the role like a bridge between sonar and operator. Usually sonar display is named display console for short because sonar display contains display and control two parts.The function of sonar display processing technology is studying how to present the result of signal and information processing on the screen truly and quickly. So sonar display processing technology is closely linked to the case whether sonar display can display the target information to the operator truly and quickly.From the title we can know that there are two parts in this thesis. They are disp- lay processing technology investigation and design for sonar display. The detailed work consists of:(1) Summarize the history and development actuality of both sonar display processing technology and sonar display.(2) Introducing the concept, structure and function of sonar device detailedly. Describing the common display format of sonar display in detail that is all-scene, fan-scene, A-type and range-azimuth etc.(3) Studying on three kinds method of sonar display processing technology. For example, the method of gray display, equalizing background algorithm and the quick display method by operating the memorizer of display card directly.(4) Designing both the software and hardware of a new type sonar display. The hardware part includes the theory, form and the circuit design of data processing and communication block. The software part is consist of opening out PCI driver program, scheduling logic, the display interface of passive mode and the FM, CW, all-scene, fan-scene of active mode.(5) Basing the designing of the software and hardware, it is debug both the Software and hardware.
