Performance Analysis In IEC60870-5-104 Protocol Based On Ethernet And TCP/IP

The performance analysis in IEC60870-5-104 protocol based on the technology of Ethernet and TCP/IP is researched in this context. Not only can IEC60870-5-104 be applied for data transmission between dispatch master station and substation automation system or between dispatch master station and RTU based on Ethernet, but also it can be used for the network transmission of data in the substation.This paper analyses and compares the common communication mode in substation Integrated Automation, points out that it's an inevitable trend that the Ethernet will be applied in the inter communication of the substation automation system, and then studies some problems in applying and developing the technology; as far as the transmission mode of telecontrol information is concerned, network communication is strongly recommended in this paper and some realization proposes are raised according to the construction of power network and the configuration of network equipments for the time being.After deeply talking about the network application environment of...
