Design And Realization Of Multi-USBScanner Device Driver In VxWorks System

Twenty-One century is a digital century. With the developing of digital technology, the requirement of input-graphics devices is more and more abroad in the world. The big breadth engineering scanner as one of these devices is mainly used to implement the digital of some special fields such as military affairs, mapping, architecture and so on.While as a new technology of big breadth engineering scanner, Multi-Scanner will increase the scan breadth, improve the scan speed and scan precision farther more.The thesis whose research object is Multi-Scanner, introduces how to design Multi-Scanner device driver with USB protocol in VxWorks. It is divided into two parts. In the first part, it mostly introduces VxWorks and USB system. Then analyses the real-time principle of VxWorks and the USB physics frame, USB logic structure, USB transfer type and USB device frame; in the second part, it expatiates the achievement process of Multi-Scanner which includes the single and multi CCD scanner device initialization and read-write operation. Then it introduces the problems we against, the analysises and resolutions of these problems. All these make us understand the embeded design and USB principle very well.
