Large-scale scanner, as a graphics input device, is widely needed by the military, mapping, and building industry for digital graphics. It is more and more strongly the need for the large-scale scanner with independent intellectual property rights, which provides the good market prospects for developing embedded system software of controlling the scanner.Our team designed and developed system software for large-scale scanner with four CCD, which can make multi-channel CCD of the the scanner be managed and synchronous through EC5-1713 board, and splice the multi-channel scanning data, then send the data to PC accurately and real-time through Network. After PC gets the data, it will do further processing and get the digital image that meets our user's needs.The author's task is to provide VxWorks real-time embedded operating system environment, and according to the needs of large-format four-CCD scanner embedded system, realize VxWorks operating system transplanting, and achieve stable operating environment of the network and VxWorks operating system. In the projection, the task is be done successfully, the loading problems ,which appears in the process of transplantation about Intel82562 Driver of EC5-1713 Embedded Control development board, is well solved, finally, the stable network data transmission is achieved for large-format scanner.In the paper, the application of embedded real-time operating system is introduced firstly, and a brief introduction of the embedded real-time operating system VxWorks and Tornado integrated cross-development environment is made; then based on the hardware platform and software structure, the project on the actual situation is described, the loading problem is analyzed in two ways of the network device drivers and support for PCI equipment; the BSP configuration of the targeted equipment is completed and Intel82562 Driving the migration process is presented; in the end, the formation of bootrom and VxWorks operating system is given intactly.
