RF CMOS Amplifier

Moto corp. is one of leaders in interphone manufacturer. The advance of its product lies on perfect looks, convenient manipulation, and more, on its excellent communication quality. What designed in this thesis is a RF PA circuit used in a type of interphone which will be producted by Moto corp.. It must meet the request of 500mW output power when it works at frequency about 500MHz. The design set the limit of minimization of noise and make sure it fulfill the gain at least 25dB when the circuit works.This paper including both the design of PA circuit and CMOS chip. On the basis of current condition, the circuit simulation is provided. The initial circuit was designed by calculation theoretically first, then matching network is designed by using of SMITH chart, the stability analysis is discussed. Initially, the eligible result in theory is obtained by ADS simulation. Second the error analysis is carried out, finally got the optimized circuit design which can be used in industrial production by real board test.The detailed design procedure and method is proposed in this paper, also, the measurements are provided.
