| In the Post-PC period, digital information and network technology is highly developing, and embedded technology has widely penetrated into all kinds of industry domains. Along with wide application of good performance ARM CPU and EOS (Embedded Operation System), the exploitation of embedded becomes very popular.The paper first introduces the characters and application of embedded technology,the interior resource of MCU EP7312, the characters of Linux and the structure of its kernel. Then it describes the hardware design of an embedded controller based on ARM,the process of creating an embedded Linux platform and how to develop the application software on it. The main content in the dissertation is as follow:1. The structure and application of the ARM720T is studied. An embedded controller system is designed based on EP7312.2. The theory and characters of Linux is studied, and the structure of the Linux kernel is thoroughly analyzed. Finally, Linux is transplanted on the embedded controller based on ARM MCU.3. Device driver design on Linux platform is studied. The device driver's programs of the embedded controller are finished.4. The application of the embedded industry monitor system based on Linux is finished. It includes data collection, storage, processing and dispaly. |
