Research And Realize Of Control Configuration Based On OPC

OPC(OLE for Process Control),is a new standard used in industry process control.It's a suit of interface specification.It is developed by some big automation companies,software and hardware suppliers and Microsoft.With the development of OPC technical,it supplies an open and consistent interface specification for field device which make it possible to get field data through OPC server.At the same time,in industrial process control system,application software often need varied with equipments' update and additional demands promoted.To meet the new requirements,such as increase new arithmetics or increase new sample points and displayed on program's interface,software ofen need changed or replaced by new version.Cost is too high and the maintenance is inconvenience.The fixed realization method caused the result.Because function of the software is fixed,new developed module is difficult to integrated into the system.To solve the deficiency mentioned above.A way is brought forward in the paper ,which is control configuration based on opc .The system used the mature ActiveX techinique as the foundation for plug-in integration.It provides an openning extendable environments.Plug-in can be developed by third side supplier and added in this system.Through this way the system's control ability can be improved to meet the need of the client.
