With the rapid development of computer network and campus intranet, university students have urgent need of computer network. Research of network becomes the hot topic of communication and computer science. This paper emphasizes on the construction of computer network system for dorms in University of Technology, also ,we have designed the scheme for constructing dorms network system and developed a net fee charge software based on proxy server. As a result, users can inquiry the net flux and net fee from client terminal, and make"one machine, many users"user-based accounting in apartments possible.This article takes the computer networks in the University of Technology dorms as an research object and comprehensively studies and introduces a series of questions in netting of special local network. During the process of integral design and choice of system software, systematic working procedure is reasonably organized, system resource is efficiently managed, and potencies of various resources are fully developed on the basis of the target to provide easy and efficient access to various resources.
