| With the fast development of the domestic tele-communication, IP network and the proliferation of its clients, it becomes more and more pressing to solve the problems such as how to increase the operation efficiency, how to reduce the operation and security cost, how to improve the service and how to guarantee a steady and efficient network.According to structure, the IP net of JiLin Communication Company can be divided into four parts: core layer of province,core layer of Metropolitan Area Network,distribute layer of Metropolitan Area Network and access layer of Metropolitan Area Network. Nowadays, broadband is mainly based on IP net, and a small part of it is based on ATM. In the city of ChangChun, there are about 400 nodes of DSLAM. The equipment for access layer is various in kind and great in scale, and there's no perfect solution for the management of such equipment. The security and management of the access net mainly depend on the net master system of each company; however, it is hard to realize compatibility between various net master systems of different company. Therefore, a uniform management cannot be achieved. Managers have to tackle each subnet through different managing system, and the access net masters and other net masters basically exchange their information by operators'inefficient handwork.One of the main problems of the ADSL operation distribution is its numerous processes, including line pre-selection, wiring, configuration of masters to DSLAM, validated server, installation of dial software in house, and terminal installation debugging. If there is no a set of broadband net managing system, it will be quite difficult to manage, to supervise, to analyze the flux, to count the bandwidth, and to give the increase rate of users.
