Based On The Zigbee Technology, Wireless Video Access Control System Research And Design

The traditional wired access control system, which is installed complexly and cost highly, is difficult to reconstruct and add-assembly for the existing buildings. So it becomes a very valuable research subject to develop the more competitive access control system using new technology. This thesis gives an intact solution for wireless visible access control system, which is based on ZigBee technology.This thesis describes the general structure of the wireless visible access control system and gives the detailed solution of the devices of the system. A hardware platform is built using C8051F121+CC2420 scheme which is tested completely. Then, this thesis designs a ZigBee wireless image transmission application protocol stack, with referenc to free protocol stack provided by Microchip Corporate and is compatible with ZigBee specification. A cross-layer transmission method of image data frames based on link establishment mechanism is innovatively designed in the stack that improves the efficiency of image data transmission. Finally, using the new designed protocol stack makes the complete functions of the wireless image transmission application come true.Star network and cluster-tree network are constructed based on ZigBee wireless image transmission application protocol stack. The wireless visible access control system platform is designed in these two networks and the related functions of wireless image transmission are tested on the platform. The results of the tests showed that image transmission is highly efficient and reliable, the ZigBee wireless image transmission application protocol stack is stable and suitable for the application of wireless visible access control system.The results of this thesis indicate that the solution for wireless visible access control system is practicable and has good application prospects.
