EAM (Enterprise Assets Management) discussed in this thesis is the important method that realizes the Enterprise Assets Management informationization. Making use of the EAM system, not only utilization factor and the output are raised, but also enterprise's production quality, security of the product, Energy Conservation and Environment Protection are guaranteed. The objective of EAM system is to enable the enterprise assets management not to be the bottleneck of the development.The introduction and the state of art for the EAM System in the world are given, and take some companies for example, some EAM Systems in use are analysed simply. The paper points out some solutions of some company in the world which oriented to some new requirements of assets management.We also talk about the target, design rules, system architecture and system function modules, and analyzed the requirements system design and core business. Also the techniques of realization are provided..Based on the situation and request of the present electric power business management informationization, this EAM system uses B/S three architecture, including the client side browser, the middle WEB server and the database server. And it is divides into six modules including the equipment account, the flaw management, the stockpile management, the stock management, the project management and the overhaul manages according to the service requirement. In addition, the system also provides some other function, for example, the report forms printing, the multimedia document processing, the redeposits of the character processing software and so on.Here are the key problems and the main production in the thesis:First, on the basis of the distribution techniques and component techniques, the information system is divided into three blocks: representation logic, business logic, and data management. The system realizes the three-tier architecture and distribution application. Second,making use of computer technology and network technology, the system adopts softwore engineering technology and realizes enterprise assets management informationization.Third, there are technology Documents of the requirement analysis,system design,database design and the detail design. In addition, test plan, configuration management plan and the review plan are laid down strictly.With the development of enterprise assets management informationization and the increase of requirement. The next task of the system is to predigest the system configuration, and to make the using and the service more convenient and more individual.
