Shandong Provincial Expressway Information Management Network System

Shandong Provincial Expressway Information Management Network System is a system aiming to the realization of various management targets of Shandong Provincial Expressway Group Co., Ltd and the enhancement of the management level of the Expressway Group. The goal of the system is: to improve and rebuild the existing network system, to rebuild the existing IP over ATM over SDH network structure, to establish an integrated network platform for the Shandong Provincial Expressway's production traffic(mainly toll traffic) and other synthetical information by way of BGP/MPLS VPN technology to simplify customer's network operation and in the meantime providing more patulous value-added service which will bring more profit.The thesis mainly deal with the alteration of the existing information management network system of Shandong Provincial Expressway Group to the effect that it will satisfy the expansion of the group's traffic. Realization of the economy and practicability of the management network. The article analyzes the background and developing status of the information management network, introduces the main problems which needs to be solved briefly; emphasizes the analysis of the Shandong Provincial Expressway Group's core LAN and sub backbone WAN, describes the network constructing way of from MPLS to network site, and focuses on the design and realization of the IP address, route and MPLS QoS aiming at this network.The thesis mainly solved below key problems:1. basing on the concrete requirements of expressway information management network system, carrying out a comparatively detailed demand analysis, and at the same time optimizing and designing the topological structure of the core LAN and sub backbone WAN, satisfying the expansion requirement of the present management system.2. Adopting BGP/MPLS VPN technology, realizing the high performance, high reliability, expansibility, standardization and administrabilty of the improved system, providing different service grade according to demand and ensuring service quality. The network employs the most advanced IP technology and the fifth generation routing equipment with high performance to provide a uniform integrated traffic network platform for the information management system.
