Development Of The Data Acquisition Card Based On PCI Bus And Its Application

Condition monitoring is an effective strategy for rotating machinery in the power plant. Data acquisition is very important in the whole condition monintoring system. So it is necessary to research the data acquisition system.Based on the DSP and PCI technologies, the paper designs a data acquisition card used in the condition monitoring system, which consists of input module, sampling and processing module and computer interface module. The paper has made detailed hardware designing for each module.The software of the system is composed of DSP program and the device driver. The paper introduced the designing for each software modules including rotating speed measuring, analog and digital signals acquisition. The system's device driver is developed on Windows OS using DriverWorks.
