Simulation And Application Of Military Communication Network Based On OPNET

By investigating the architecture of military communication network under the high-tech conditions, this dissertation refines a topology of a real layered military communication network which contains its main characters, and reflects it to OPNET simulation console by manufacturing, processing, abstracting and condensing, absorbing its advantages and discarding its disadvantages. Using several modeling technologies, this dissertation simulates the network and realizes the hybrid modeling, analyzes its performance parameters, and makes the simulation more precise and faster. On the basis of these, according to the tendency of modern war, this dissertation designs and simulates a distributed strategy and tactics military communication network and three kinds of battlefield networks of future war, by evaluating their performance parameters, this dissertation finds out the problems of these networks, and provides supports to the realization of the auxiliary Decision Support System of the integrated network management, and also provides the technological reference to the designing and optimizing of the military communication networks.This dissertation interprets the realization, characters and tendency of the military communication network in detail, mainly introduces several kinds of the traffic modeling technologies of the OPNET simulation software, and it makes OPNET become basis of the simulation of military communication networks.
