The Research On Military Network Performance Simulation Based On OPNET

In the process of military information construction, the scale and structure of military network become more and more huge and complicated, which leads to network load onerous. So how to optimize and plan the network is a challenging scheme.In this paper, the author has abstracted and compressed natural military local network so as to extract the best topology for mapping to the platform of OPNET simulation in the new era. Firstly, according to three design schemes, network model,node model and process model had been built for network performance simulation,the comparison of the server response time and link utilization in the application of OPNET network platform.. Secondly, according to the result of simulation, the best scheme of network design has been chosen, And it shows effective in the scheme. In the process of the simulation, so many technologies for building model was been used to simulate and analyze the performance parameter, which has realized the hybrid modeling of simulated optimization in order to keep some and higher speed.Though analyzing the performance parameter of this local network., we could find the problem so as to provide the reference to the design and optimization of the network. Finally, the author summarized what she did and proposed the next work which will lay a foundation on the military communication network simulation based on OPNET.
