At the present time, navy of all countries are using all kinds of Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) as a provide of their future. The IBS is a integrated platform composed by Electronic Chart Display and Information System, ARPA Radar and other Navigation Equipments. IBS can provide great convenient for the operator. Most of the ECDIS available now measure the geographic coordinates of a ship by the GPS (global position system), so it is necessary for the ECDIS to test timely the precision of the GPS by radar signals. For real-time disposal of mass data of radar and real-time display by computer, the hardware realization of data acquisition of the radar background information and polar coordinates-orthogonal coordinate's conversion with high speed are discussed in this paper. Using this method, the real-time processing and displaying of radar signal become possible for an ordinary personal computer. For the development of the Radar disposing card, we designed Radar simulator to simulator the output signals of a certain type of Radar.ARPA Radar subsystem is an important part of the IBS system, this paper discussed the design and realization method of the software which running on the control computer and is a part of Radar subsystem. The software runs under the VxWorks real time operation system. The programming method under VxWorks and Zinc (an application frame) are also discussed in this paper.
