The Research And Development Of BSS Based On .net Platform

To improve the operation efficiency and quality of the communication service providers, ICCBS (Integrated Customer Care &Billing System) as part of BOSS (Business Support System /Operation Support System) becomes the hot point in the telecommunication industries of China during the two years lately.This dissertation mainly research into the build and development of ICCBS (Integrated Customer Care &Billing System) , especially on the new Microsoft .net platform. It is expected to help build of ICCBS for China telecom service providerThis dissertation is consists of three main parts as following:First of all, after the analysis of the telecommunication service, OSS and TOM (Telecommunication Operation Map), the starting point of research and definition of ICCCBS have been proposed, which is beneficial to understand ICCBS and locate ICCBS from the BOSS architecture.The second part of this dissertation introduces the Microsoft .net platform's core techniques, which is used to build ICCBS, including N-Layer architecture provide from .net ,and theory of COM+1.5 to solve distributed transaction problem etc.The last part explains how to build the ICCBS based on those techniques and theory mentioned in the first and second part.This paper is the summary and practice on the background of my experience of take part in one BOSS product development team named CCBS, which is a communication corporation department, the mainly concern of CCBS is to research and development on ICCBS. At the present time, the product of CCBS has been sold to several countries such as Iran, Nepal and Libya etc.
