Research Of Embedded Wireless Access Technology And Its Application In Home Network

The research subject of this thesis is part of the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) (No. 2003AA1Z1110) and the High Technology Research and Development Program of Jiangsu Province (No. BG2004002). The paper mainly studies some key technologies used in the development of the wireless device under embedded operating system. After deep study of home network framework and communication protocol, the paper raises the information home network solutions and application protocol based on bluetooth technology and embedded system. And also information apparatus, gateway and controller of home network are implemented.The paper consists of six chapters.In Chapter 1, the background and research significance of the subject is introduced, as well as the structure and main contents of the paper.In Chapter 2 after different categories and compositions of the home network are compared, discussion is placed on one of the wireless technologies: Bluetooth, including its protocol framework and application profiles. And in the final part of Chapter 2 the analysis is focused on the usual development environment of home network: embedded operating system.Then the composing solution of home network is provided. The solutions include all parts of home network, such as the design of framework, gateway, remote controller and information apparatus.In the fourth chapter the software designs of home network, the Universal Device Control Protocol (UDCP) based on bluetooth SPP profile, and the hardware designs of all composing parts are all illustrated.After that the implementation of home network gateway is demonstrated, including building embedded development environment, adding drivers, and the implementation of IAC program, PSTN control access and Internet control access.Finally, the implementation of home network terminals is given. It is implemented not only on bluetooth One-Processor architecture system, but also on completely embedded architecture system.As a result, with help of other team members, the control of remote controller to information apparatus insides home network has been implemented, as well as the control access of two external networks Internet and PSTN.
