Research And Realization Of WCDMA RLC Layer Potocol Based On Windows CE.NET OS

WCDMA is one of the three mainstream standards of the 3G mobile communication,it can provide us with multimedia service and high bitrate digital services, and it becomes more and more popular in 3G market worldwide.As a result,the development of WCDMA protocol stack based on leading embeded OS Windows CE.NET has important influence in theory research and realistic application.This paper introduces the research and development of WCDMA Radio Link Control Layer protocol based on Windows CE.NET.As we all know, development of mobile communication protocol is forbidden to be public, so this paper achieves accomplishment independently with few reference.This paper analyses developmemt situation and trend of WCDMA thoroughly, points out the importance of developing WCDMA protocol stack independently. This paper studys protocol details of RLC entity in three modes,and pays most attention on data process and data transmission control procedure in Acknowleded Mode.Besides,introduction of Windows CE.NET OS is also included.The achievement and inovation of this paper is the realization and testing method and procedure of RLC protocol software. This paper illustrates framework design of RLC layer,and describes software realization details.RLC is devided into 5 modules:data process module,event process module,interface module,timer module and transmission control module which is invented to assort with other modules. Combining RLC functions with characteristic of Windows CE.NET, this paper gives out many inovative realization method,such as multithread method and defination of important data structures in software.Testing part introduces testing procedure of RLC protocol software, illustrates testing flow chart and proves that this version of software can work well.This paper provides many realization methods for development of related transmission control protocol in near future.
