The belt drive used in transmitting power and movement, is an important transmission form in the mechanical transmission. The belt drive is in character with flexible transmission center distance, simple structure, stable drive, low cost, without being lubricated, cushion vibration and overloaded protection. So it is widely used in various industries. The belt-drive table is an important measuring tool for driving efficiency and sliding ratio, furthermore it is the machinery specialized essential teaching equipment. The laboratory original belt-drive table does not adapt to the modern teaching experiment request for its data test method backward, whose the entire experimental process needs the artificial intervention, test data consumes and precision is low.According to the laboratory existing conditions and the transformation requests, experimental system which integrated single-chip computer technology and computer technology has been developed in this paper, based on two aspects from the mechanism and electricity to carry on the transformation for the original belt-drive table. Computer-aided test, data processing and analysis of the rotate speed and torque can be implemented, and computer controlled experimental torque loading is realized in this system. At the same time, the curve of the drive efficiency and sliding ratio can be displayed dynamically. This system can also produce test report, save and printing.This paper first introduces the belt drive efficiency and sliding ratio computation, analysis the reason why the sliding ratio produces and the efficiency loss form, as well as tensile force's influence on belt transmission. It introduces the belt-drive table structure, the torque and rotate speed measuring principle as well as the load principle. Finally, the experimental system improvement plan has been proposed.Secondly, for saving the cost of the reform, both circuit board and interface of the single-chip computer are designed independently. Weighting sensor's fixation and installation have been complemented, weighting sensor's signal processing and data acquisition electric circuit have been designed, two groups of torque signal tendency real-time gathering have been achieved finally. After comparative analysis of the program of speed measurement, a new kind of method for measuring multi-channel rotation speed based on M/T has been designed. Through detailed analysis of the Electric closed loading principle, a new kind of digital PWM modulator has been designed, a loading system based on the PWM chopper excitation adjustment has been realized. The serial communication is used to complete the data exchange between single-chip computer and computer, computer measuring and control has been realized finally.Finally, the experimental system software design concept and flow has been elaborated. A friendly interface and multifunctional application program has been developed by VB6.0. With the help of this system for the online experiment, the experimental result has been analyzed finally.The results indicate that the plan is feasible and the technical route is also reasonable and suitable. The results of actual value were fit with the theoretical value.
