Along with the fast development of modern science and technology, the implementation of informational working platform technology in enterprise has a far-reaching strategic significance. Enterprise Information Management System is one of the principal means to achieve the informational management goals. For a modern enterprise, how to make the information more convenient, more efficient in enterprise and how to reduce the operating expense, are the major challenges facing modern enterprise. Informational technology is an inevitable choice for enterprises to accelerate sustainable development.Based on the object-oriented modeling with UML, and the theoretical analysis and research to Enterprise Information System, we have developed a complete pipe production information management system under the requirements of a specific enterprise. Firstly, this paper analyzes the business flow and functional requirements of pipe production. And we established system operational roles, Business Process, and operational targets and its use case. Then, through a systemic analysis, we have set up the system model, the entity classes, interface class and diagrams of classes. Finally, under the Windows Server 2003 operating system, Delphi 2005 development tools, and the SQL Server 2000 database, we realize a product information management system with the functions of formulating the plan, report, audit during the management process , data collection, statistics, analysis and supervision during the production process. Meanwhile, we have researched the process of handling complex issues such as the delayed response analysis, and proposed a Performance Optimization System mechanism based on Agent and database connection pool, and made the corresponding tests. The system satisfied the enterprise's business requirements, realized of informational management during production process, improved the productive operational efficiency and achieved the expected goals of the enterprise.
