Recently, it is greatly booming in Distributed Artificial Intelligence. By and by, agent techniques are used in many research fields of computer science such as Data Translation, Personal information Service and Information Filtering. More and more people are becoming interested in agent techniques. There are many international conferences about the agent techniques such as ICMAS, PRIMA, and MEEMAS in recent few years. Agent techniques have become the focus of Distributed Artificial Intelligence.On the other hand, in the past 10 years, Electronic Commerce developed with a rapid speed. Electronic Commerce has occupied the market of 1000 billion dollars. But there are also many challenges in the fields of Electronic Commerce. How to establish an easy, efficient, effective, enjoyable, extensible Electronic Commerce system becomes the perplexity of businessman. It is an urge to use intelligence agent techniques in Electronic Commerce.The work on this thesis is based on the practical projects. The main goal of the thesis is using multi-agent techniques to solve the problem of Data Translation, Personal information Service and Information Filtering in Electronic Commerce. Using JAVA language, an Object-Oriented multi-agent information translation system is built in this thesis. The method mentioned in the thesis is efficient in the practical projects. The multi-agent system measures up to the requirement of the translation, filtering and safety of the Electronic Commerce.
