The research, development and application of the Virtual Teaching Experiment System of Aero-engine is a breakthrough in reforming traditional teaching method with modern technology. As a new teaching media, Virtual Reality Technology will have a far-reaching influence on education. The system is highly practical and dedicated to education, scientific research and engine design of aero-engine major in colleges and universities. Starting from the design, development and realization of the Virtual Experiment in Teaching of aero-engine, the research has achieved the following:1. The research is a software development environment based on MFC vc++6.0 and vega, realizing the Virtual Teaching Experiment System of aero-engine. Its include virtual assembly, model teaching, flow field display, test-run experiment. The system make use of the technology of virtual let the teaching effect visualize , real time, reality.2. Analyzing and studying the algorithm of collision detection, making use of the collision detection principle based on the bounding box and bounding sphere.the research realizes the collision detection in virtual assembly and that of fingers and parts of the aero-engine in the process of data glove installation.3. Designing and realizing the multi-viewpoint, multi-perspectives and omni-directional real-time observation method, A whole set of ways are built up that allow users to observe the scene from any aspect and thus provide them a convenient path for microscopic and the macroscopic observation of the simulation process and the virtual scene.4. Designing the specific effect based on the particle system, unifying the behavior model and the geometry model, the research analyzes the attribute and the randomness of particle system. Make use of the particle system realizes the specific effect of inner gas and the fire of the Aero-engine.5. Through analyzing and studying the principle and algorithm of 3D stereo rendering, achieving stereo displaying and managing to combine it with intersense and stereo glasses, the research puts the users in the virtual 3D teaching environment of the aero-engine.
