Because of the rapid development of the military equipment informationization, a high standard on the technology of weapon manufacturing is required. The application of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) meets the requirements of electronics material manufacturing industry. The use of Statistics Process Control (SPC) can improve quality and credibility of production.This paper researches on the evaluation technique of the quality and credibility of SMT production, the application of SPC in the SMT production line. Thorough analysis is given on the requirement of SMT produce to SPC software and the design of the software framework is presented. Details description of the key function such as control diagram, statement output, database etc, are carefully described. Then we propose the design methods for the SPC software.The result of the test shows that the software have various batch quantity with many series environment descend ability that carry on the parameter process of the key craft's supervision and provided for the production line an earlier period report to the police system; it decrease the dependence on normal regulations examination, system examination methods are used instead of a great deal of examination and verification work.The application of statistics process control in the SMT production is still at a early stage. The further work will include the following aspects such as craft ability evaluation, intelligence decision support, function of SPC software.
