In the electronic manufacturing industry, the paces of replacement of electronic products accelerate quickly, meanwhile, environmental constraints require more and more stringent, this thus has been promoting the emergence of new material and technology. SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing industry, the basis for electronic industries is facing more challenges about process design. However, at present very few SMT-related enterprises promote quality control method on SMT process design, even though they have applied a corresponding system about quality control in the product design and manufacturing.In this thesis, the functional model of process design method for SMT was developed based on QFD (quality function deployment). The method consists of two parts, firstly, the method for customer-demand-decomposition and technology–mapping with the customer needs was constructed specially for SMT industry through the improved model of QFD. Secondly, dynamic feedback system for process design was proposed based on statistic process control method. In addition, the thesis also raised the idea of establishment of cross-functional group to make sure effective implementation.Finally, the thesis showed a real certification by an example of this new process design method for a particular product. |
