| Complex Programmable Logic Device(CPLD) is one of Application Specific Integrated Circuit(ASIC) that has been widely used, especially adapt to design digital system. Because liquid crystal display has such characteristics as small,1ight, low-voltage, low consumption, low cost etc. These characters make it suitable for combining with the large scale integrated circuit to produce various kinds of portably products. Therefore it has widely market prospects.This paper according to modern electronic design, use MCU+CPLD+SRAM method, design analog liquid crystal display (LCD) control system. Meanwhile this paper devide the system into many kinds of function module.It includes MCU module, CPLD module, SRAM module, interface module and driver module. Finally this paper design every module into hardware and software.The software module use C language to design MCU, the software function is to send date to LCD screen. The VHDL language is used to develop CPLD software, this software implement timing control and data control. The VHDL language design environment is QUATRUS 5.0, under this environment implement software program, test and optimization.This design has great market prospects, it makes a reference for the future LCD design and research. |
