The Design And Implementation Of Data Transmission Module Of Configuration Management In UEP

With the rapid development of the telecommunication industry, the complexity and functionality of the telecommunication infrastructure equipments are increasing substantially. So the technology of network management is particularly important. The quality of the service offered to the public by telecommunication network is related to management technology and its equipment. So, it is necessary to build an advanced and unified network management system to improve operational efficiency and service quality of telecommunication network.TMN(Telecommunication Management Network)offers an organized network structure to make the interconnection among kinds of operating systems. Configuration management is an important part in network management system, and it is the foundation of other subsystems. It controls equipment of wholly network, including deleting, increasing and altering the configuration datum of the network equipment.In this paper, according to the TMN standard we are designing and implementing data transmission module of configuration management in the unified element management platform(UEP)of telecommunications based on the J2EE system. The configuration management subsystem is an important part of UEP and is the foundation of other subsystems. This paper deeply studies the criterion of TMN and analyzes the structure of UEP, and researches the plan of the configuration management subsystem. It designs and implements the data transmission module of configuration management based on taking part in this item, and describes the key realization mechanism in detail. Finally, the paper introduces the method of testing after transmission and images the development prospect of the data transmission module of configuration management.
