Research On The Application Of Data Warehouse In The Management And Control System Of Dagushan Mineral Extraction Plant

Data Warehouse is used to dynamically collect subject-oriented data for the management and decision of the enterprise.Using data warehouse technique to manage and analyze the real-time information sampled by control system will be common in the implementation of management and control as a whole by streamline enterprises and is the topic of research and development of manufacturing enterprises.The fundamental theories of data warehouse are studied in detail in this dissertation. The developing status quo of the management and control system of Dagushan Mineral Extraction Plant (MCSDME) is investigated. The managing requirement at all levels is analyzed. Then the functional framework is analyzed and the goals of data warehouse system are decided. Then the subject domains of the data warehouse are designed and the data warehouse environments are planned. MCSDME is built by some contents: Design the architecture and data source of the data warehouse, centralized storage and management, bottom to top implementation method are adopted according to the information plan and real requirement of Dagushan mineral extraction plant; Establish the conceptual model, logical model and physical model of cost subject.The manufacturing process and the factors of the cost are analyzed. The star-like topology is designed including the production facts table and other dimensional tables; Design the ETL procedure and multi-dimensional analysis scheme, MS DTS is used to collect, transform and load the data. Analysis Services is utilized to analyze and process the data on line; Develop a cost analysis system with Delphi and SQL Server which implement the function of monthly cost analysis and workshop cost analysis by mining the materials, manpower and manufacturing costs occurred in the course of the production in order to provide support for the leaders to make appropriate decisions.
