This paper introduces technical characteristics and method of exploitations of Data Warehouse System for plant culture, view from heterogeneity data resources, the design of ETL model, the design of Data Warehouse model and metadata management. On that foundation, we bring forward multi-fact table structure as the data model of the plant culture Data Warehouse, achieve extraction, transformation & load of data with the database technology such as ADO ,SQL-DMO etc, build the Modeling Tools of plant culture Data Warehouse, use this Modeling Tools building Data Ware house with Data Source of soja plant and management platform, complete querying data, making graph, calculating statistics, polynomial regression and so on; completed data increment addition and inputting data manually; accomplish enterprise-level management of the metadata. Based upon the construction process of systems, the paper discussed the details of technicality in building of Data Warehouse System for plant culture.This system was designed into three-tier architecture. This software can integrate many kinds of data source (relational or not). It have a very kind interface, complete building new Data Warehouse and data increment addition with guide process. The software has a strong capability of handling errors. Also having a good capability of extension, it can be used in building the Data Warehouse of other plant such as wheat, rice, corn etc.
