Study On MARX Generator Discharge Circuit And Pulse Forming

Marx generator,as impacting-voltage generator,is originally applied to the specialty of high-voltage , which is the common device in high-voltage experiment.In recent years, with the rapid development of power-pulsed technology, the application domain of Marx generator is gradually broaden. The Marx generator is discovered in many fields of high power pulse.Laser propulsion is one of the newline domain in aviation specialty nowadays. Laser propulsion is considered as the ideally-launching mode such as micro-fligh with light-load owing to lower-cost, high-efficiency, environm-entalism. Many countries greadtly attach importance to the related research work in which the CO2 laser with the high power-pulsed is regarded as one of the important research domain. Improving the output energy and the repeated frequency of laser to meet the need of laser propulsion is chiefly researched.Due to the advantage of the high peak value, the simple structure and the pulsed-mode function , Marx generator is regarded as the appropriate choice of compelling the CO2 laser with the high power-pulsed.however, the original Marx generator mostly runs under the discontinuous output mode, the Marx generator isn't fit for the need of the repeated frequency mode of the laser propulsion.In this paper,the technology characteristic of laser propulsion and the technical requirement of high power laser are analyzed,contraposing stable excitation and repeating frequency's demand of laser working gas, the structure design of laser power is presented. On the basic of the structure of Marx generator and the working process analysis, the mathematical model of Marx generator is founded. by virtue of computer simulation, the operating basic process of Marx generator is simulated.every variability of variation and the restriction relationship of the parameter space are gained such the loss of current limiting resistance, the charging time, the capacitance voltage, the discharging efficiency, discharging pulse rise time and so on.In this paper, the Marx generator's isolation mode of inductance in place of resistance is inducted. by virtue of theory analyzing of the charging and discharging process of inductance- isolation Marx generator, the mathematical model based on charging process of transmission lines theory is constituted, the mathematics quantitative formula used to analyze charging process time and the configuration...
