Radio frequency identification technology is a non-contact automatic identification technology, it uses the electromagnetic wave coupling or dissemination way to communicate, to achieve with the identified targets for data exchange and recognition. RFID technology has the characteristics of multi target recognition, and recognition fast, its adaptability to the environment is also very strong, so it is widely used in many fields.Works of art stolen not only bring economic losses to the country, but also bring the serious influence on development of a country’s culture, so the safety of art storage has attracted more and more people’s attention. People want to be able to carry out real-time monitoring on arts, unfortunately arts are stolen, people can discover and acquire the related information in time. So designing the more perfect real-time monitoring becomes very important.Designing art monitoring system based on RFID technology in the paper. The research contents include: first, designing the application model of art monitoring system of RFID technology, by using frequency card to achieve art monitoring and the tracking of people. Second, research on key technology of radio frequency identification system, mainly including the anti-collision algorithm and localization algorithm, via simulation in MATLAB software, choose the algorithm of optimal performance and is suitable for the monitoring system, to solve collision in the system. Third, designing near and distant radio frequency identification monitoring equipment in monitoring system, and designing the software and hardware of the radio frequency identification monitoring equipment, realize the function of art and personnel information. Choose n RF24L01 special reader card chip to design remote RF transceiver module, and design the transceiver procedures. While the short distant RF transceiver module uses U2270 B chip to design. Finally realize transmission monitoring information to the PC monitor management system by using RS485. Fourth, complete the development of monitor management software through the Visual C++6.0 in PC machine, achieve real-time monitoring of art and personnel, there are problems can alarm in real time, and provide relevant information.This article apply RFID technology to monitoring of works of art, the biggest feature is the use of the dual frequency system, combine nearly the distance and distance of two kinds of control mode, not only can monitor the state of arts through the near distance mode, but also can track arts and personnel through remote mode, realize the real-time monitoring of art and personnel, there are problems can alarm in time and acquire relevant information, prevent looting, realize the information management.
