Standard Parts Parametrized Model Library Study Based On SolidWorks

Aiming at the lack of standard parts library in SolidWorks and in deference to standard parts graphical document editorial precept, this paper proposes a method of establishing a standard parts library.The combination of the technology of OLE Automation and the methods of object-oriented parametrized feature-modeling are applied to build a standard parts library, ,the results improved SolidWorks' mechnical products' CAD function.principal contents is carried on in this paper.Firstly, based on the specialities of standard parts and standard parts' feature and function are gived, standard parts' category and parameter is classified, standard parts' feature express method and standard parts' main structure dimension parametric database are finished. At last, using the feature-modeling method provided by the software SolidWorks and Secondary development based on COM component, general standard parts and bearing and guide roller analogous moulds' 3D mode library is established,The interactive input method of parts' data and the design method of interface are studied, and the whole design data of parts can be described and input exactly.Model's engineering's property is designed. Model's engineering's property is concluded and they are saved in model's configuration property as model's definition property.Model's auto-assembly is designed. Parts are assembled by special precision standard and technical requirement. And parts are joined by rational craft technical process. Independent parts fit together.Using VB as the development tool and access as the database, the anticipative functionality is almost achieved, and the results of example show that the design thought is correct, the interface is friendly, the operation is reliable and quick.
